My fascination with photography began when I was 9 years old, when I would take my parents' film camera out of the drawer and force my brother and sister to model for me. It was always people that I was interested in capturing from the start--expression, emotion and movement. I later went on to study photojournalism in college which is where my love of storytelling through photos began. My work is story and mood driven and typically shot on location with the beauty of natural light. One of my greatest strengths as a photographer is the ability to connect with people and make them feel immediately comfortable.
In addition to photography I love traveling, interior design, antique stores, long drives blasting loud music, the ocean and desert, tacos, have a new love of Disneyland as an adult, Twin Peaks, sweet tea and my 4 cats. I currently live and work with my husband in the beautiful mid-coast Maine area.
